Lavender Pillow...

I made a lavender Christmas pillow...

It's a Lavender filled Christmas pillow, 'O Holy Night'

Hope you like it!!

On another note, we are expecting a huge storm to hit us here in Perth tomorrow,
at about 11am Tuesday 28th ...

so please keep us in your prayers,

they are expecting widespread damage, flooding and power outages.

So to all my W.A. blog buddies, stay inside and stay warm and safe!

My daughter's new business ...

I may have mentioned before that our daughter The Model is a also a hairdresser.

She has recently started her own business with her best friend

Together they offer everything from
cuts and colour to
hair extensions,
clip on eye-lashes and make-up.

Recently the girls decided to
expand their business to add glamorous photo shoots to their resume,
these are especially for ladies who want to get pampered and primped and feel like a super model for a day!

They will offer everything from
hair and make up
to organising the location,
the wardrobe and a photographer..

They did a trial run with a couple of their gorgeous friends as models,

and a lovely friend of our family offered to do the photos free of charge..
(Bless you Frank!!)
.
.. and I helped a bit by doing the photo shopping...

I think the shoot turned out  amazingly!!

What do you think??

They did  Glamorous...

Bridal ...

Fantasy Fairytale...

And of course  'Rock Chic'

Hope you like them!

more new fabrics..

Just a quick post to share some of my new Michael Miller fabrics...

Can't wait to get cutting into them...!

It is hard to see the sheen on this top white one,
it is a white on white damask...
It's gorgeous in real life!

And couldn't resist sharing this photo of The Princess...
She is such a smiley girl!

Also, just to let you all know,
Jennifer from Sugar Pink Boutique is giving away a gorgeous strand of her Bubblegum Pink Candylights!

I have some of these and loooove them

Hope over to her blog and join in the fun for a chance to win!!

Enjoy your week!

Precious time..

Mr Deekie Belle has been working alot lately, they are very short staffed at work and he is trying his best to get us in the right place before he retires.. I can't fault him for that.

During the time of my illness we suffered in the financial department and it is taking much time to catch up..

But I am constantly reminded about a treasured friend of mine, Lynne. She was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 47, she fought very hard to beat it but in less than a year she was called home to be with the Lord.

...I miss her so much.

None of us knows how much time we have left on this earth..

I am blessed to know that one day I will see my beautiful friend again,

but until then I want to relish those I love that are right here with me now..

I want to hold hands with my husband,

spend time with my children,

cuddle my grand babies,

chat with my sisters,

listen to the stories my father tells...

and enjoy plenty of cuppa's with my mum..

The bug has the right idea..

Mr Deekie Belle  is snoozing on the couch but he still makes the most of their time together ...

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

The Bunny's quilt..

My gorgeous grandaughter the Bunny is nearly a year old..

I finally finished a quilt for her..

I used a really soft white cotton for the blocks and teamed it with gorgeous Studio E fabrics. These are soooo pretty in person but quite hard to photograph with a flash as they have a real sheen on them.

I aged the photos a bit with photoshop... I have seen others do it on their blog and I love the look.. not sure if mine turned out very well though :(.

Anyhoo, I will try and get better photos later.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
