Nothing sweeter than daddy and daughter.... really????

The model has only three weeks to go before little baby boy is born -

She and the other rock star can't wait, but Mr Deekie Belle  and I are so excited too -
this will be our first grandchild!....

Here she and her daddy were showing off their bumps.... or lack there of in Mr Deekie's department!!,
He was pushing as hard as he could but that six pack of his just wont quit!!

Hmmm, I love these two more than life itself!
(actually, make that three, coz there are three of them in the pic eh!!?)

I miss my mum...

Mum is galivanting around England with my sister Deb at the moment, visiting family and friends so I am just posting this pic of her grapevine for her.... lots of lovely grapes mum, just hiding underneath all the green!..... I miss you my darling and I hope you and Deb are having a wonderful time - only a week and a bit and you will be home! We are taking good care of Dad for you, but he is missing you madly - as is your little Archie boy!
He really is the cutest little doxie in the world!

The Phantom of the Opera.. and Valentines Day

Who says romance is dead?! The Sports-fan took the songstress to see the Phantom of the Opera for Valentines day. He is such a romantic, he bought her flowers and the tickets, then he bought her a dress to wear, they had dinner out before the show and then the show - they absolutely loved it and had a fantastic time!

And for Valentines day Doug bought me some flowers and a gorgeous occasional table -I nearly fell over when I saw the table, it was just what I wanted!!

Ginger Blossoms and Freshcut yumminess!

I have been working on some gorgeous patchwork peasant skirts which I have just listed them in my etsy shop -

The first one is made from adorable Sandi Henderson Ginger Blossom Fabric and the second is made with Heather Bailey Freshcuts.
I love these fabrics so much and have been waiting to use them for something very special. I based the design of them from one of Sandi's lovely patterns.

I am so thrilled with these skirts and they are made all the more beautiful by my little model 'Shevorne'. She is as sweet as she is beautiful and was such a joy to work with - thanks hunny!

I have also finished some of my Patty Young Andalucia Emmeline aprons and dragged my poor tired, pregnant daughter in for a couple of photo's in one. I just knew they would look great over a pregnant belly! Will take some more pics of them soon but just had to post a couple of these!

These aprons are reversible so you get double the use!

My favorite new thing!

I am sure it is my personality, but I get quite taken in by things and can become quite obsessed sometimes. Here is a photo of my favorite thing at the moment, I try and snuggle and cuddle it as much as I can but my daughter is extremely ticklish and I usually find the model's palm firmly planted on my forehead pushing me away - especially when I start whispering "I love you my little darling"boy"........ only 7 weeks till we meet him, I am so excited!!!!

Isn't he beautiful!!!!

Playing catch-up!

Wow, I feel like there are not enough hours in the day sometimes. as usual things here have been mad-busy and I am way behind on my blogging - please forgive me while I play catch up in the next few days!

I have bought lots of lovely handmade things over the past couple of months, most for Christmas presents and some for myself - a few weeks before Christmas I bought myself these gorgeous handmade vintage pendants from the lovely Tinker. Elaine is such a sweetheart and makes the most gorgeous jewellery!, what a talented lady she is. I bought two charms from her and she sent me lots of little extras which was lovely!

You can check out gorgeous blog here!
I just love these so much!!!

Thanks so much Elaine, I love, love , love them!

........................................

The Glamour girl starts school tomorrow - I can't believe my baby is in year 12, she came to me at 8pm tonight and told me that she needed a pencil case (kids!!!), so I found this great tutorial by the very clever Jodie of Ric-Rac and I made this little cutie for her! It only took me about an hour and I am pretty happy with it, I have never made a pencil case before :)!

I have started a few Emmeline aprons from the Andalucia fabric I bought recently. This is the first line of fabric by the uber-talented Patty Young of Modkid Boutique. I have been following Patty's blog since I first started using the internet and she is one of the designers who has always been an inspiration to me. I love everything she makes and can not believe that one little lady is so full of talent! On her blog she has a list of fabric sellers, I get mine from Lanie Jane , another etsy darling who gets me through the day!!!

I will hopefully have these finished in the next couple of days....

back with more soon!
