What if Mr Bean was in Avatar ?!

Sorry about the lack of posts, I am very busy organising my daughter's wedding which is in 3 and a half weeks.
As Deekie and Jon have changed their minds on the 'big, flashy wedding with all the trimmings' in favour of buying a home in Perth, [they have their country home up for sale], they have decided to downsize to a more informal wedding in the park followed by a "Marquee in the backyard" for the reception.
Because of this, I will be doing the catering so this has added to my role and I have been unable to spend time working on my design and on my blog. Please trust me when I say that I will be back after the 6th of March with lots of photos, new things to show, and FINALLY that long awaited Jingle Sock draw!

My etsy shop is also on Holiday till then :)

Till then my lovelies I will leave you with this picture I received from my sister Sue today....
It shows what it would be like if Mr James Cameron had thought to add the lovable 'Mr Bean' to the cast of his new blockbuster movie, Avatar.

Enjoy!!

Aint he cute :)!

Hugs to you all and I'll miss you!

Ha, that is so funny! Best of luck with your catering.. I hope the big day is perfect for all. My best mate is getting married in early april, so I am up to my ears in organising too! I would love to move from my home in Perth to a country property.. how funny is that!?

The great things about weddings (although you may not realize it until the wedding itself is over) is that no matter what, it will be wonderful. It is a celebration of two people joining their lives together and sharing it with friends and family that witness and support their happiness for the rest of their lives.

I remember attending the wedding of my best friend's sister. It was an outdoor wedding held in tents. A tropical storm blew in jjust in time for the wedding and 10 minutes before the ceremony blew the ceremony tent into the nearby pond. We quickly arranged an aisle between the dining tables in the reception tent and held the ceremony there. It was beautiful. Even with the bride and groom soaked to the skin in the dash from the house to the tent!

The eye of the storm hit just as they were saying thir vows and everything got very quiet. Then the storm picked up again and we danced all night while the tent shuddered and shook around us.

It should've been a disaster... but in reality there was truly nothing that could ruin the day. The bride and groom were there and we were there. Nothing else was really needed. We could have stood outside in the pouring rain and wind and it still would've been perfect.

I hope your daughter has a perfect day. (But without the hurricane force winds of course!)
